Vibal Group Inc. marks 73rd anniversary, reaffirms commitment to education

The publishing company Vibal Group Inc. marked its 73rd anniversary, reaffirming its commitment to delivering quality education to Filipino learners through books and digital platforms.
As part of its celebration, Vibal Publishing also paid tribute to women in observance of International Women’s Month, highlighting the contributions of Esther A. Vibal to the country’s educational landscape.
Esther A. Vibal is recognized as a key figure in shaping Philippine education, particularly for her role in advancing learning in science, technology, and innovation. Her influence has helped transform the company into a major educational publisher focused on equipping students with relevant and future-ready knowledge.
Gaspar “Gus” Vibal, former president and current owner and shareholder of the company, said Vibal began as a publishing house centered on journalism and printing. However, under Esther’s vision, the company shifted its direction toward educational publishing, recognizing the deeper impact of education on the youth.
He also shared that during his younger years, Esther played a significant role in his academic development, assisting him in writing, editing, and critically reviewing his schoolwork.
Vibal also attributed to his mother the values of integrity, discipline, and strong faith, which continue to guide him in leading the company. He also acknowledged that he continues to draw inspiration from her as he carries on their shared mission.
As Vibal Group celebrates its 73rd year, it renews its mission to provide accessible knowledge and contribute to the development of future generations of Filipinos.
