Marking two and a half decades of holiday tradition, Noel Bazaar, one of the Philippines’ longest-running shopping events, continues its mission of giving back and community building by extending support to the Inquirer Foundation.
The donation turnover, led by Cut Unlimited Inc. president & CEO, Mayose Gozon-Bautista, comes as the bazaar celebrates its silver anniversary milestone. While Noel Bazaar is widely known as one of the country’s premier holiday shopping events, its legacy is equally defined by its enduring commitment to social responsibility, regularly allocating proceeds to its partners.
The Inquirer Foundation remains a key recipient of these charitable efforts. This year’s donation is dedicated to powering the Foundation’s advocacy programs on education and youth development. “The best way to help out is through literacy and education … Gagaan ang buhay ng mga Filipino if we all collaborate on literacy [focused] advocacies,” Ms. Gozon-Bautista emphasized during the turnover, noting the importance of education to one’s success.

Ms. Justine Bautista-Reyes, managing director of Cut Unlimited, Inc, echoed this statement, highlighting the significance of the partnership, “We are deeply honored to stand alongside the Inquirer Foundation for the past 25 years, working hand in hand to bring hope and opportunity to our fellow Filipinos nationwide through scholarship and education programs, humanitarian efforts, and initiatives that embody the true spirit of giving. As we celebrated this milestone together, we look forward to expanding our collaboration and making an even greater, lasting impact in the years ahead.”
Connie Kalagayan, Inquirer Foundation executive director, expressed her gratitude for the continued support, “We congratulate the Noel Bazaar team on reaching their 25th year of bringing joy to Filipino shoppers. Their commitment to giving back has always been remarkable. Their annual support is instrumental in sustaining our core advocacy programs, such as INQskwela, the Inquirer Read-Along program and scholarship grants which empower the youth through literacy and critical thinking. We are proud to have partners who value education and youth empowerment as much as we do.”
Atty. Rudyard Arbolado, chief operating officer of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, also conveyed his immense appreciation to Cut Unlimited, Inc., recognizing how the partnership has evolved over the past 25 years. “We are thankful that our partnership remains a cornerstone of both organizations’ social responsibility efforts, placing education at the heart of programs that champion youth development across the country.”
