Lestari Awards 2025 Officially Launched: A Platform for Inspiring Sustainability Initiatives
Jakarta, February 27, 2025 – Lestari Awards 2025 has been officially launched, marking the beginning of a nationwide search for sustainability initiatives that contribute to the future of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) practices in Indonesia. Organized by KG Media as part of the Lestari Summit, this award serves as a collaborative platform for stakeholders to accelerate sustainable transformation.
This year, Lestari Awards 2025 expands its scope, introducing new award categories, participation opportunities for MSMEs, and access to the Asia ESG Positive Impact Consortium (A-EPIC)—a regional forum bringing together the best sustainability initiatives from Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
“Lestari Awards is not just a competition; it is a platform that gathers good initiatives and inspirations, empowering those who may feel they are working alone. Through this platform, they realize, ‘We are not alone. Many others are striving towards the same goal,’” said Wisnu Nugroho, VP Sustainability at KG Media.
Since its inception in 2024, Lestari Awards has become a space for sharing experiences and recognizing companies, social organizations, and government institutions committed to impactful sustainability practices. Last year, the event successfully attracted 114 companies with 234 submissions, demonstrating the increasing enthusiasm for sustainability initiatives in Indonesia.
Three Key Innovations in Lestari Awards 2025
Lestari Awards 2025 introduces three significant changes that make the event more inclusive and impactful:
- The number of award categories increases from 12 to 14, covering more aspects of sustainability.
- Participation is now open to MSMEs and social enterprises, which were previously not included in Lestari Awards 2024.
- Winners from 12 main categories will automatically advance to AEPIC, a regional ESG forum to be held in Malaysia in November 2025.
“This year, winners in 12 selected categories will automatically qualify for AEPIC, as we have reached an agreement with our partners in the Philippines and Malaysia. This is a regional forum for ESG impact, scheduled to take place in November 2025,” added Wisnu Nugroho.

Lestari Awards 2025 presents 14 award categories, reflecting the three main pillars of sustainability: Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG).
