TUA Launches the Office of Sustainable Partnerships and Lifelong Learning

TUA President Dr. Gisela D.A. Luna highlighted that TUA is more than an academic institution—it is a community built on truth, service, and shared responsibility.

Trinity University of Asia (TUA) marked a turning point in its mission to expand access to quality education by launching the Office of Sustainable Partnerships and Lifelong Learning (SPLL) on February 20, 2025. The event celebrated new academic initiatives and, more importantly, a host of strategic partnerships that promise to shape the future of education and industry partnerships.

In her opening address, TUA President Dr. Gisela D.A. Luna emphasized that when knowledge meets purpose, meaningful change follows. This served to highlight the emerging trends in education and the need for cross-sector collaboration.

To align these trends and needs, TUA created the Office of Sustainable Partnerships and Lifelong Learning (SPLL). The Vice-President for SPLL Dr. Howell Ho underscored its mission to forge vital alliances via program offerings in adult education, open distance learning, microcredentials, and extension classes. To concretize these programs, Dr. Ho introduced three new academic units under SPLL, namely, Trinity Innovation Hub (TRINNOH), Trinity International Lifelong Learning Academy (TILLA) and Trinity Open University of Asia (TOUA), each dedicated to bridging gaps between academia and industry while ensuring accessibility to education.

By harnessing the strength of these diverse partnerships, Trinity University of Asia has set the stage for a future where education is flexible, accessible, and impactful. The launch of the Office of Sustainable Partnerships and Lifelong Learning signals a bold move toward a more connected and responsive academic community.
