Chamber of Thrift Banks congratulates BSP governor Diokno

The Chamber of Thrift Banks has congratulated Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Benjamin E. Diokno for having been named by The Banker Magazine as the Global Central Banker of the Year 2022 in recognition of “his efforts to help stimulate economic recovery and growth for the Philippines amid the unprecedented coronavirus disease 2019 crisis.” The Chamber said Diokno’s contributions to Philippine economic development and to the improvement of central banking standards in the region continue to be recognized globally. This award from The Banker is evidence of his commitment to excellence and the strong support his colleagues at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas have given him, it added.
