Over 240 Manila City Hall employees, frontliners to get free health insurance
Over 240 Manila City Hall employees and frontliners will receive free health insurance, according to the office of Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso.
Personnel under the Office of the Mayor who are directly on the frontlines taking care of the districts are among those who will be covered by the insurance donation of Allianz PNB Life. Recipients will get accidental death, dismemberment, and disability benefits and a coverage of up to PhP 75,000.
The insurance package is part of the recent partnership agreement signed between the global insurance company and the City Government of Manila for the former’s Ride Safe campaign.
Moreno hailed the project as an important contribution to the city’s frontliners.
“We value our frontliners who take care of our citizenry, our communities here in Manila. We believe they deserve the protection and health coverage provided by the insurance company, especially in these crucial times,” he said.
“In promoting health and protection through our insurance solutions, we would also like to honor the hardworking men and women who guard our health and safety,” said Allianz PNB Life President and CEO Alexander Grenz.
