An excellent day with an excellent Dad
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, fathers make it a point that excellence is maintained and practiced in the house. During a period of uncertainty and danger, the father is considered the symbol of stability by the whole family.
As masters of the house, fathers are expected to impart knowledge to family members, especially the younger ones. They are taught to maintain proper image, practice managing their time well, know when to agree or compromise if needed, or be a good listener and follower. The best part is that he conveys excellence in the house in lesser words as possible.
Taiwan Excellence realizes that fathers play a very special role in making sure that the family, especially children, stays strong together not just physically but also mentally in spite of what is happening. It is not just the material needs that he provides for the family but he is also responsible in maintaining a level of excellence among family members in terms of their actions in public and in learning other life’s lessons.
That is why Taiwan Excellence, whose objective is to help showcase the innovation, creativity and excellence of Taiwanese brands, recently came up with a short video for the man tasked to take care of the family even while still working from home. Directed by actor and TV host Ryan Agoncillo, the video also stars Agoncillo as the father of the household, who showed his style of maintaining excellence in the house using fewer words.
The video shows Agoncillo in various situations with his children, teaching them how to conduct themselves properly in terms of their manners, the way they dress, movements, way of thinking, and other important examples. And all these teachings done in lesser words as possible, sometimes, even just a mean stare because that’s what fathers are supposed to be, a man of few words who lets his actions do the talking.
In the end, Agoncillo tells his children to practice excellence in everything they do and believe in their own excellence, just as much as he believes in his.
It was supported by brands such as Acer, Asus, Transcend, and Johnson Fitness, all recognized by Taiwan Excellence.
Part of the launching was an online contest that saw lucky participants win brand-new Asus VivoBook Flip and Acer Aspire 5 laptops, perfect tools for the hardworking Daddy. Winners were Phoenix Kessop and Kevin Paolo Dela Cruz.
