PR group expresses gratitude to hospital frontliners, donates PPEs
The Public Relations Officers of the Senators (PROS) donated personal protective equipment to hospital frontliners as a way of expressing their gratitude for their sacrifices.
Glenda Olid, PROS president, said PROS thanked the frontliners and donated PPEs to minimize the hospital staff’s exposure to hazards as they man the frontlines in our battle against COVID-19.
Members of the group pitched in their own money to buy 100 pieces of PPEs for the staff of the Assumption Specialty Hospital and Medical Center in Sumulong Highway, Antipolo City.
ASHMC staff headed by Rizza Miñoza, ER head nurse, received the PPE turned over by Lyn Novencido and Rene Casibang, media relations officers of Sen. Cynthia Villar and Sen. Manny Pacquiao, respectively.
Miñoza said the group’s donation will help them a lot as they care for Covid-19 patients inside and outside the hospital.
