BDO warns public against fake FB account

The BDO Unibank warns clients and the general public of a fake BDO Facebook account that might mislead people.
According to BDO management, the legitimate BDO Facebook pages have a blue check mark. If the blue mark is absent, unfollow it immediately because it is fake.
The BDO advised people never ever click a link in the fake BDO Facebook website. That’s what scammers are waiting for so that they can put a spyware on a client’s account and get his or her One-Time PIN.
An OTP is a unique 6-digit security code sent via SMS to a client’s registered mobile number. It is an essential security layer, required when authenticating critical actions — credit card transactions, or updating account details.
