Seasoned journalist joins Bilyonaryo News Channel
Seasoned journalist Willard Cheng joins Bilyonaryo News Channel as co-anchor of its flagship primetime newscast AGENDA.
He joins veteran journalists Korina Sanchez-Roxas and Pinky Webb in delivering the latest headlines and analysis of current events here and abroad.
Willard brings with him 20 years of solid reportorial experience, having covered Malacañang under three presidents and every other major political beat, including the Senate and House of Representatives, the Commission on Elections, and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Willard’s comprehensive and in-depth live reporting and anchoring of Pope Francis’ visit to the Philippines in 2015 earned him accolades, having gone beyond event reporting and delivered key insights to viewers about the papacy and the Catholic Church while engaging the audience and capturing the viewers’ interest and emotion.
He was twice selected as fellow of the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program of the United States Department of State. He graduated from Ateneo de Manila University and Saint Jude Catholic School.
