Noel Bazaar, the Philippines’ longest-running shopping event, continued its tradition of giving back by supporting its partners and beneficiaries. Justine Bautista-Reyes, Cut Unlimited Inc’s managing director handed the check donation to Philippine Daily Inquirer and the Inquirer Foundation.

Proceeds donated to the Inquirer Foundation will continue to support its advocacy programs on education and youth development.

“Actually ever since Noel Bazaar started back in 2000, it’s really been a fundraising event and since the beginning we have been committed to donating part of the proceeds to our brothers and sisters who are in need. It is a rewarding feeling to know that it goes to educational programs especially since there are a lot of areas in the country where we know have no access to education. It inspires us as a team, the organizing team, to be able to maximize our efforts in the coming events so we will be able to help more. Of course our ultimate goal is to be able to grow our reach and our scale so that more Filipinos can benefit from our fundraising projects. Of course it’s close to our hearts that it goes to educational efforts mainly because we also have a lot of beneficiaries who support educational programs so it’s good that it compliments one another and we are always very open and very willing to broaden our scale and also through our events… we would be welcome to doing more, so if there are more ways for us to help more, then we’re very much willing and very open to explore how else we’re able to help and support these programs,” Bautista-Reyes said.

Grateful for the donation, Atty Arbolado said, “We’re thankful to Cut Unlimited for being a long time supporter of the Inquirer foundation in its efforts to help the young people… especially… the education program of the Inquirer. Their donations have been a constant source of our capability of helping the young people with programs like INQskwela and Read-along. We wish them all the best on their 25th anniversary and we look forward to more years of partnership with Cut Unlimited.”
