Mayor Along congratulates Batch 2024 graduates, provides P10K incentive

CALOOCAN CITY — The City Government of Caloocan, in partnership with the city’s Schools Division Office (SDO), celebrated the graduation of the School Year 2023-2024 batch with ceremonies held across various elementary and senior high schools in the city.

Approximately 100 students from grade school to senior high school who received the “With Highest Honors” distinction were awarded Php 10,000 each as a cash incentive from the city administration. These students are now recognized as Caloocan Exemplary Students.

City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan commended the graduates for their discipline and hard work, as well as the parents, teachers, and school staff who contributed to their success.

“Nais ko kayong batiin lahat para sa inyong pagsisikap at dedikasyon na makamit ang inyong pangarap. Alam kong hindi naging madali ang inyong mga pinagdaanan kaya sana ay proud din kayo sa inyong nakamit,” Mayor Along said.

“Siyempre, alam ko rin na ipinagmamalaki kayo ng inyong mga magulang at guro. Sana ay hindi niyo makalimutan ang lahat ng itinuro nila at suklian ninyo ang kanilang pagmamahal sa pamamagitan ng patuloy na pagsisikap at pagiging mabuti sa kapwa,” he added.

Mayor Along emphasized that his administration will continue to focus on programs aimed at empowering the youth and improving the city’s education system.

“Nais nating bigyang diin na patuloy na prayoridad ng ating administrasyon ang inyong kinabukasan. Lahat ng ating proyekto ay nakasentro upang maitaas ang antas ng pamumuhay ng bawat taga-Caloocan.”
