CAMI Clark Golf Cup held anew at Mimosa Clark
The Capampangan in Media Inc. (CAMI), in cooperation with the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and Quest Plus Hotel and Conference Center Clark, successfully staged last April 19 the 10th CAMI Clark Golf Cup (2024) at the Mimosa Golf Course in Clark Freeport Zone Philippines.
Chairman Arsenio “Arni” Valdes of Juan D. Nepomuceno (JDN) Realty and Former Mayor Tito Mendiola (regular players) led the ceremonial tee off.
The lead sponsors for this year’s golf tournament are RASLAG Corporation (platinum), Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor)-gold and Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO)-gold.
Silver sponsors for the 10th CAMI Clark Golf Cup are: Prime Water, Meralco, BPI, SM Investments Corporation, Mileage Asia (CHERRYLUME), GCash and Vista Mall. The bronze sponsors are Filinvest, Clark Water, DBP and Chevron.
Hole sponsors are Senior Citizens Party List and LIPAD. Special sponsors are Senator Win Gatchalian, Roger M. Garcia, Hon. Marino Morales and PGen Oscar David Albayalde.
Kristian Michael Sade emerged as Grand Champion of this year’s annual CAMI Clark Golf Cup.
Class A Champion — Vincent Encarnacion, Class B Champion — Patricia Hizon, Class C Champion — Joan Cruz and runner-up winners Jera Sison, Kerwin Ong and Mary Ann Martinez also emerged victorious.
The purpose of the CAMI golf event is to generate funds for the organization’s projects and programs which include medical and wellness program for its members and indigents, book publication program and the regular media forum (Balitaan Bale Balita) activity.
CAMI is a non-profit organization of reputable journalists based in Metro Manila and Metro Clark, with Nonnie Pelayo, Chairman; Mario Garcia, Vice Chairman; Vittorio “Vot” Vitug, President; Mer Layson, Vice President; Robert Mananquil, President; Abel Cruz, Treasurer; and Ric Sapnu, Auditor.
