For two days, or from January 8 to 9, Rodriguez gave out water, food, noodles, puto and bread to devotees who attended the “pahalik” and the procession of the Black Nazarene.

Rodriguez personally led the distribution of food for an estimated 25,000 devotees around the Quiapo church.

She said every year she distributed food to Black Nazarene devotees as a way of sharing the blessing that she received from the Lord.

“Sa aking maliit na kakayanan ay napawi ko ang pagod at hirap ng mga deboto na nagpuyat para makasama sa prusisyon ng itim na Nazareno,” Rodriguez said.

(In my modest ability, I alleviated the fatigue and hardship of devotees who stayed awake to join the procession of the Black Nazarene.)

It was learned that it has been a long time since Rodriguez started sharing her blessings to the less fortunate.

She added that she established the Act Agri Kaagapay Organization to be able to help more people in different parts of the country.

Rodriguez, a former reporter turned entrepreneur and philanthropist, has helped a lot of people, starting from Binondo followed by doing philanthropic works in various parts of Metro Manila and also in Visayas and Mindanao.
