Residents of Mindanao receive assistance from businesswoman-philanthropist
Businesswoman and philanthropist Virginia Rodriguez has again showed and proved that sharing blessings to the less fortunate does not require proper time and place.
Rodriguez said that “in every moment of our lives, helping should always remain in our hearts and minds.”
“Ito ang aking laging panuntunan sa buhay ang tumulong sa mga less fortunate nating mga kababayan,” she said.
(This is my guiding principle in life—to help our less fortunate fellow countrymen.)
Last December 28 and 29 or the end of the year 2023, Rodriguez still spends important hours helping the people of Mindanao.
She made the residents of Barangay Badas, Mati City, Davao Oriental province very happy by sharing her blessings to them.
Rodriguez distributed food packs to thousands of families and handed out cash assistance to elderlies and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
“Patuloy lang lumaban sa kahirapan at maging instrumento ng katatagan sa buhay dahil marami pa ring tulad namin na handang tumulong,” Rodriguez added.
(Continue to fight against poverty and be an instrument of strength in life because there are still many like us who are ready to help.)
It can be recalled that recently or just a few days before Christmas, Rodriguez also shared her blessings to some residents of Tondo.
She also assured that she will continue to help the less fortunate in the coming months and years, especially those in the agricultural sector.
One of the advocacies of Rodriguez is to spread and promote organic farming to help thousands of farmers and lower the prices of goods in the country.
