Maryknoll High School reunion set Sept. 8
All roads lead to Miriam College (Maryknoll College) on Saturday, September 8, 2018 for the Annual Grand Homecoming.
Among the batches to be honored are Maryknoll College High School Class ’73, dubbed the “Sparkling Sapphires,” which is marking its 40th year of graduation from high school in 1973.
This batch has produced the likes of current Philippine ambassador to Canada, Petronila “Girlie” Garcia, writer-art consultant Lizza Guerrero Nakpil, journalists Margie T. Logarta and Athel Wijangco Estacio and this year’s Amazing Alumni Awardees (Triple A) doctors Cora Geraldez-Logarta and Miren Dominguez-Rafer.
The Sparkling Sapphires will present a seven-minute dance number during Saturday’s program, highlighting a song playlist and events of the early 1970s, led by the Declaration of Martial Law.
