Cayetano joins 180th PUP Board of Regents Regular Meeting
Senator Alan Peter Cayetano joined the 180th Polytechnic University of the Philippines Board of Regents Regular Meeting on April 3, 2023, held at the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) building.
The meeting included discussions to modernize the equipment across the university system. Cayetano has previously sought more budgetary support for the PUP since its graduates are in high demand from employers in the country.
Aside from Cayetano, CHEd Commissioner Ronald Adamat (PUP-BOR Chairman), PUP President Manuel Muhi (PUP-BOR Vice Chairman), and PUP-BOR members Maria Monica Pagunsan (OIC-Undersecretary Corporate Affairs Group – Office fo the NEDA Undersecretary), Ramir Cruz (PUP Faculty Sector Representative), Wilhelm Provido (PUP Student Sector Regent), and Associate Professor Rolando M. Covero, Jr. (University/Board Secretary) participated in the conference.
Officials of the PUP system and the Executive Committee namely Emmanuel De Guzman (Vice President for Academic Affairs), Lito Gatan (VP for Branches and Campuses), Tom Testor (VP for Student Affairs), Ruby Gapasin (VP for Research and Development), Marisa Legaspi (VP for Finance), Adam Ramilo (VP for Administration), and Atty. Joanna Marie Liao (Legal Office Head) were also in attendance.
