On Int’l Women’s Day, Meralco vows to #EmbraceEquity

Through its gender diversity and inclusion program #Mbrace, Meralco implements initiatives to increase women’s representation in the organization to 40% by 2030.
As the world honors women on March 8, electric power distribution company Meralco pledged to #EmbraceEquity.
Meralco is joining celebrations of International Women’s Day as it continues to champion gender fairness.
The company said its Meralco Linecrew Training Program (MLTP) pioneered the training and hiring of female linecrew in Southeast Asia back in 2013.

It also said that the newest batch of MLTP graduates is set to be deployed in the Meralco workforce next month.
