FEU-CAPO bags 4 awards at the 19th Philippine Quill
Far Eastern University’s Career and Placement Office (CAPO) won four awards at the professional level of the 19th Philippine Quill Awards held last August 18, 2022, in an online ceremony.
The Pre-Employment Preparation Talk (PEP Talk) webinar series bagged two Excellence Awards in Digital Communication/ Communication for the Web and Communication Training and Education Categories. Online Mock Interview (OMIC) took home the Excellence Award in the Special and Experiential Events Category while the Student Exposure to Partner Organizations (Student EXPO) activity received a Merit Award in the same category.
The Communication Training and Education Division recognizes the outstanding conduct of mentorship and the educational role of communicators in developing and delivering workshops, classes, seminars, or training that educate the audience about various aspects of the communication profession. The Communication Skills Division honors excellent marketing and communication elements that showcase technical skills such as editing, writing, design, and multimedia production that have demonstrated strategic alignment with the creative process with measurable results tied to objectives.
CAPO is one of FEU’s academic services units that provides evidence-based and industry-responsive programs, training, and activities that support the holistic career development of students and improvement of FEU graduates’ employability. It strengthens industry linkages to increase employers’ exposure to students and nurtures a sustainable and mutual relationship with top corporations and reputable organizations.
These Quill award-winning activities are products of strong, dynamic, and proactive collaboration between CAPO and its industry partners. The activities are essential in preparing students for a well-directed career leading them to a more meaningful life after graduation.
