Jehovah’s Witnesses hold Bible conventions online in July and August
Is it possible to enjoy a peaceful life despite the conflicts we may face?
Jehovah’s Witnesses (JWs) invite the public to find the answer at their annual regional convention which will be held virtually worldwide starting this weekend on July 2, according to the Public Information Desk (PID) of JWs.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s convention program with the theme “Pursue Peace!” is being presented on jw.org. Sessions will be posted incrementally in July and August, the PID said.
“The program is free. No log in or registration is required,” it added.
The series of Bible-based lectures will answer the following questions:
- How love leads to inner peace and peace with others
- Why the Bible can be called “the road map to family peace.”
- How to attain peace even when suffering illness, economic problems, natural disasters or other difficulties.
- What people from around the world are doing to enjoy peace.
- ‘Why friendship with God can lead to true peace.
The program’s first segment will be available for streaming or download starting this week on jw.org, on JW Broadcasting, on the free JW Library app, or on streaming platforms such as ROKU TV or Apple TV, the PID said.
Following the practice of the past two years, this year’s virtual program will be released incrementally throughout July and August.
The three-day convention will be available in six parts, each corresponding to a half day of content.
