TIEZA and MyEG Philippines, Inc. sign partnership agreement for online travel tax payments
PASAY CITY, PHILIPPINES — The Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) in partnership with MyEG Philippines Incorporated signed a partnership agreement on June 8, 2022 held at Midas Hotel Manila. TIEZA Chief Operating Officer, Mark T. Lapid and MyEG PH Chief Executive Officer, Ann Margaret Saldaña spearheaded the event.
MyEG Philippines Incorporated is a one-stop provider of e-government solutions and payment services which allows to transact with government agencies. MyEG also link customers to various financial services ranging from online savings, insurance and online lending.
It provides online payment and logistics services for government agencies such as NBI clearance Application and Renewal, PhilHealth Voluntary Members Payment and BIR Tax Payment. MyEG PH handles over 50,000 daily transactions making it a competitive online payment system.
“On behalf of TIEZA, It is with great pleasure that we welcome MyEG as our partner in continuous innovation to provide better service to our taxpayers.” Lapid said in his remarks.
On par with other online payment systems in the country such as GCash and Paymaya, MyEG stated that their online payment technology is reliable and secure. It also has more than 80,000 over-the-counter payment channels and point of sale locations nationwide. MyEG PH have access to 150,000 outlets across the world thru its partnership with Western Union.
TIEZA will launch their online travel tax services system or OTTSS platform on June 18 of this year. The OTTSS will become the central online hub for all travel tax services.
